1. In order to be an active client with American Credit Consulting, you may not have any active bankruptcies.  If your bankruptcy is dismissed or discharged and reflects as such on your credit report, we are able to proceed.

  2. As part of your onboarding process, you will be required to upload: Valid state issued identification: unexpired Drive’s License or State ID; Proof of address: Utility bill, bank statement, insurance statement, or an official document addressed to you at your home address.  Credit card statements are not permitted.

  3. We currently only service clients in the State of Illinois; however, we would be happy to refer you to a reputable credit repair company in whichever state you reside in.

  4. We only accept clients are committed and motivated to improve their credit.  The success and timeliness of the credit repair process requires strict compliance by our clients of the following duties: Provide us within 5 (five) business days of receipt, any document, credit bureau report, letter, or other item received during the credit repair process; Refrain from applying or accepting any new credit (mortgages, car loans, credit cards, etc.); Cooperate with ACC in various aspects of the credit dispute process, including providing any requested documentation (prior letters, contracts, bankruptcy documentation, divorce decrees, etc.); Cooperate with reasonable requests for documents or information from creditors, credit bureaus, and furnishers of credit information; Provide true and accurate information that is neither false, misleading, deceptive, nor fraudulent; Pay all fees in a timely manner when due; and Provide an accurate home address and working home, work, and cell telephone number, and notify us immediately if any of your contact information changes.

  5. Following the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), American Credit Consulting only charges for services that have been completed.  You should be aware that your rights are protected by the CROA whenever you work with a credit repair service.  Knowing and understanding these rights can help you avoid credit repair scams and dishonest organizations. 

  6. What makes American Credit Consulting different from many other credit repair companies is that most other companies charge an average of $300 per deleted item, which can become extremely costly whereas we have made it affordable for our clients by providing UNLIMITED disputes and deletions for a fraction of the cost

  7. American Credit Consulting charges a flat monthly fee of $199 per month (299 for couples) for its services on top of a “Set-Up/Analysis/Review Fee” of $299 ($399 for Couples) which is separate from the monthly billing cycle and covers the cost of setting up your account.  Setting up your account includes several steps, such as obtaining your credit information from the three major reporting agencies, Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion through a credit monitoring service, enrolling you in the Client Portal, and setting up a physical file for you containing all relevant contracts, documents, credit reports, and other relevant information; and reviewing and analyzing the credit reports in order to advise you on specific credit problems or issues.  Except for the Account setup/Analysis/Review Fee, there will not be any fees or any other charges associated with the services until after the completion of the first month of services.
